InspYred Productions For The Arts is a student-founded arts organization rooted at Spelman College and expanding across Atlanta — dedicated to making artistic expression accessible, professional, and transformative.
Our Story
InspYred was founded at Spelman College with a simple but powerful belief: the arts should be for everyone. What began as a campus initiative has grown into a two-branch organization — one rooted in the Spelman community, one serving all of Atlanta.
We work across every art form — dance, film, theater, fashion, visual arts, music, vocal arts, writing, and interdisciplinary work — because creativity doesn't fit in a single box. Our mission is to support artists, educate communities, and produce work that moves people.

Spelman College Chapter
The founding home of InspYred — a student-led chapter focused on arts education outreach, community service, and campus programming at Spelman College and in the surrounding Atlanta community.

Ashira Ramani Phillips

Ashira is the founder and CEO of InspYred Productions For The Arts. A Spelman College Class of 2026 graduate with degrees in Dance and Entrepreneurship, she built InspYred from a campus vision into a growing arts organization serving Atlanta.

Nylah DeCohen
Women's Studies, Spelman College '26
Nylah serves as COO of InspYred and is a professional stylist and creative director. A Spelman College Class of 2026 graduate with a degree in Women's Studies, she brings strategic vision, creative leadership, and a deep commitment to the arts to everything InspYred builds.
