We believe the arts are not supplemental — they are essential. InspYred brings accessible arts education to metro Atlanta through community service, partnerships, and hands-on programming.

When we bring arts education into schools and communities that lack access to it, we're not adding something extra. We're restoring something essential.

School Partnerships
We partner directly with schools to bring arts programming into classrooms — from film labs and dance workshops to creative writing and visual arts residencies.
Community Workshops
Open workshops hosted in community spaces that invite participants of all ages and backgrounds to engage with the arts in a low-barrier, welcoming environment.
Mentorship & Exposure
We connect young people with working artists, creatives, and arts professionals — expanding their sense of what's possible for their own futures.
Campus-to-Community Outreach
Our Spelman Chapter leads outreach initiatives that bring college students into local schools and neighborhoods as teaching artists and creative mentors.
Partnership in Practice
Boyce L. Ansley School
8-Week Film Lab · Spring 2024
Boyce L. Ansley is a tuition-free private school serving students facing home disparities in Atlanta. Last spring, our Spelman Chapter brought an 8-week film lab to their 3rd graders — teaching students how to direct, act, edit, and produce their own short films from start to finish.
By the end of the program, students screened their own short film alongside one produced by our chapter members. This year, we're back at Ansley for a new activation — bringing dance on film to the students.
